Meet the Pastors

Pastor Dave Hedlin
Pastor David Hedlin Dear friends of Peace and visitors to our web site, In looking at the home page of our web site, we are reminded that we begin our worship life together each weekend under the sign of the cross. It is a cross that has meaning and purpose for us because of its tragedy and triumph; because of the great love made real for us in Jesus' death and ressurection. Each Sunday we gather in celebration of God's presence in our lives.

A significant part of the growth in membership of Peace Lutheran Church has been because of an atmosphere of warmth and friendliness. This web page is intended to extend that reach to the electronic community, and allow both local and distant members and friends, as well as those still searching for fulfillment or a new church home, to join us here and get to know us.

May God continue to bless the joy of our fellowship as we seek to be faithfull to our calling. Thank you for the privilege of being a Pastor in your midst!

Yours in Christ,
Pastor Dave Hedlin

Deacon Shari Trotter
Decon Trotter A sincere welcome to all who find themselves searching this day, Iím Deacon Shari. I am blessed to be called to Peace to serve in both social ministry and youth ministry. These are my two greatest passions. I have a BA from Newberry College in South Carolina and a MA from the Lutheran Theological Seminary in Philadelphia. I am originally from Lawrenceville Georgia and am a southern girl through and through, with my love for sweet tea and my vocabulary of fixin and yaíll. My hope is that all who come to Peace seeking the gospel will find it not only in our worship life but in the service we do in the name of Christ to our community and our world; and also that every young person who walks through our doors would know that they are beloved and gifted children of God and they are wanted here just as they are. May the joy found in the name of Christ be yours this day! Godís Peace,

Deacon Shari
